The Cleaning Vendor Your Partners Won't Worry About

Law firms have a specific problem with cleaning vendors: the wrong crew can become a confidentiality liability. A subcontractor crew that rotates weekly, hires day-of-shift labor, and never signs an NDA is the opposite of what privileged work demands.

We're built the opposite way. W-2 employees only, on our payroll, named and bound. Extensive background checks at the standard our high-security facility accounts require. Same crew rotation per firm so your office manager hands keys to people they know. Firm-wide NDA on file; individual crew NDAs available for high-sensitivity matters.

Hard rule for every employee: in a law firm, you clean around the paper. Never read it, never photograph it, never move it, never restack it. Shred bins and document destruction areas are escrow until your records vendor picks them up — we don't touch them.

Mid-Sized Regional Firms

High-sensitivity work product. Individual crew NDAs available, restricted-area protocols.

In-House Legal Departments

Corporate in-house teams inside larger tenant spaces. We scope just the legal floor or wing with restricted access.

Hard Confidentiality Rules — every employee, every shift

  • Never read, photograph, copy, or share any document, screen, or whiteboard.
  • Never move, rearrange, stack, or "tidy" papers on attorney desks, paralegal stations, conference tables, or work surfaces.
  • Never touch shred bins or shred consoles. Those are escrow for your records vendor.
  • Never enter the server room, IT closet, or any no-entry room on the firm's restricted list.
  • Trash gets pulled, not inspected. Anything that looks misplaced (file, USB, badge, phone) gets logged and left at the office manager's desk — not removed from the office.
  • What you see in a law firm stays in a law firm. Off-duty conversation about firm matters is grounds for termination.

Nightly Law Firm Scope

  • Attorney offices — clean around papers; never move them; floor vacuum, baseboards, dust ledges and shelves not covered by documents
  • Paralegal and admin stations — same protocol: clean around, never touch
  • Conference rooms — full reset: table polish, chairs aligned, glass detailed, whiteboard erased (only if marked OK by office manager)
  • Reception and waiting area — polished, plants checked, guest log area set
  • Break room and kitchen — coffee bar wiped, dishwasher exterior, microwave, fridge exterior, sink, table, floor
  • Restrooms — fully sanitized, restocked, logged
  • Copy / file rooms — clean around documents; floor; recycling pulled (not inspected)
  • Library / research areas — dust shelves and surfaces; never reshelve books
  • Hallways and floors — vacuum carpet, mop hard floor
  • Glass and partitions — interior glass walls, conference glass, entry doors
  • Trash pulled (general waste only); shred bins never touched
  • All chemicals, microfiber, equipment, consumables included

Law Firm Operator FAQ

Do you clean law firms in Seattle?

Yes. Solo, boutique, mid-sized, Big Law branch, patent / IP, in-house legal. After-hours scope tailored to firm sensitivity.

How do you handle confidentiality and case files?

Hard rule: never read, photograph, move, stack, or "tidy" any document. Clean around. Lost-looking items logged for office manager. Shred bins and document destruction areas — never touched.

Will employees sign an NDA?

Yes. Firm-wide NDA with Emerald Cleaning LLC; individual crew lead NDAs available for high-sensitivity matters. W-2 employee model means we can name and bind every person actually in the building.

Shred bins, server rooms, IT closets?

Shred bins and shred consoles: never touched (escrow until your records vendor picks up). Server rooms and IT closets: floor vacuum only; never touch equipment, cables, racks. Custom no-entry rooms honored.

Big Law branch offices?

Yes. We work through facility manager / office services lead or directly with PM. We coordinate with concierge, barista, and other on-site services.

After-hours access — what does that look like?

Enter 8pm-midnight typical. Sign in at building security, hold firm-issued credentials, log entry/exit each shift. For firms with late-working partners, coordinate fixed window with office manager.

What's in the nightly scope?

Offices, paralegal stations, conference (full reset), reception, break room, kitchen, restrooms, copy/file rooms, library, hallways, floors, glass. Shred bins and IT/server rooms explicitly out of scope.

Why local + confidentiality-trained over a national chain?

(1) Confidentiality discipline is culture; national chains rotate and subcontract. (2) W-2 only — named, bound, NDA-eligible. (3) Same crew rotation = office manager actually knows who's in the building.
