SMS Terms of Service
By providing your mobile phone number to Emerald City Cleaning ("ECC") and opting in to one of our SMS programs, you agree to the following terms. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, service, employment, or job application.
ECC operates four separate SMS programs. The terms for each are described below.
Customer Notifications
Program Description
Emerald City Cleaning uses SMS to send appointment reminders, scheduling updates, job-completion notifications, and customer-service replies to clients who have provided their phone number for service-related communication.
Opt-In
You opt in by:
- Providing your phone number on a booking, quote, or contact form on our website (emeraldcitycleaning.com), where the SMS opt-in disclosure appears next to the phone-number field.
- Giving verbal consent during a sales call, in-person quote, or service appointment. Verbal consent is documented in our customer-relationship-management system at the time of consent — including date, time, the ECC representative who collected consent, and the phone number provided — and retained as proof of opt-in.
- Directly requesting text-message communication from ECC.
Message Frequency
Frequency varies based on your service schedule. Typical: 1–5 messages per service appointment, plus replies to your inbound messages.
Costs
Message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. ECC does not charge for messages sent.
Opt-Out
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages from this program.

Staff Messaging
Program Description
ECC uses SMS for two staff purposes: (1) two-way conversational replies between an employee and ECC's assistant "Atlas" (for example, schedule and operational questions the employee initiates), and (2) one-time PIN-reset security codes when an employee requests to reset their staff PIN. Messages may be sent in English or Spanish based on employee preference.
Opt-In
This program is employee-initiated. You opt in by texting ECC's number to begin a conversation with Atlas, or by requesting a PIN-reset code in the ECC staff app or by text. Messages are sent only in response to your request. Consent is not a condition of employment.
Message Frequency
Frequency varies with your use; typically a small number of conversational replies when you reach out, plus one-time security codes only when you request a PIN reset.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. ECC does not charge for messages sent.
Opt-Out
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to re-enroll.

Recruiting Alerts
Program Description
ECC uses SMS to send pre-screening questions, application-status updates, interview scheduling, and onboarding instructions to job applicants.
Opt-In
You opt in by submitting a job application through our careers page (emerald-city-cleaning.breezy.hr), which includes SMS consent. Consent is not a condition of employment, hiring, or further consideration of your application.
Message Frequency
5–10 messages during the application screening process.

Marketing Communications
YES to a marketing-enrollment message from ECC, you consent to receive automated promotional text messages from Emerald Cleaning LLC DBA Emerald City Cleaning at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, service, employment, or job application. Marketing-SMS consent is collected separately from service-related SMS consent.
Program Description
ECC uses SMS to send occasional promotional messages to existing and past customers who have opted in. Messages include seasonal service promotions (spring deep cleans, post-construction cleanup specials, holiday office cleaning), limited-time discounts on add-on services (window cleaning, carpet, kitchen hood degreasing), referral-program invitations, and new-service announcements.
Opt-In
You opt in by checking the dedicated "I would like to receive promotional text messages from Emerald City Cleaning" checkbox on our online booking, quote, or proposal-sign-off forms. This checkbox is unchecked by default and is separate from the phone-number field and from service-related SMS consent. You may also opt in by replying YES to a marketing-enrollment message from ECC.
ECC does not purchase, rent, or share contact lists. Recipients are limited to people who have a prior or current direct relationship with ECC.
Message Frequency
No more than 2 messages per month.

Message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. ECC does not charge for messages sent.
Opt-Out
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from marketing messages. You will receive a confirmation and no further marketing messages. Opting out of marketing does not affect service-related SMS (Customer Notifications), which has its own separate opt-in and opt-out.

General Terms — Apply To All Programs
Carriers
Carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. ECC is not liable for delays or failures in the receipt or delivery of any messages, as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless network operator.
Privacy
Mobile information (phone numbers and SMS opt-in status) will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for any purpose. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates. Changes
ECC may update these SMS Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the SMS service after changes constitutes acceptance.
